Our team has proudly delivered two purpose-built group homes for the not-for-profit organisation Estia Foundation of Australia, designed specifically to provide Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) for individuals requiring tailored care and support. Building A features five bedrooms, three fully accessible wet areas, a staff office and a dedicated reading room. Building B offers three bedrooms, three wet areas and a storage room. Both homes are equipped with high-quality, fully accessible kitchens, bathrooms and custom joinery. The outdoor areas have been thoughtfully landscaped, enhancing the natural environment, while a renovated jetty ensures direct, easy access to the Georges River in Kyle Bay, fostering a deeper connection with the surrounding nature. While the project faced delays due to changes in building regulations and the CC submission process, these challenges were efficiently managed. Asbestos mitigation was carefully carried out and clean fill was used to maintain site safety and compliance. Now complete, these homes not only meet the rigorous SDA design standards but also offer a supportive environment that enables residents to experience greater independence and an enhanced quality of life in a space that has been crafted to meet their needs
