Working closely with Urbanscope Architecture, our team successfully executed this project under a construction management method which was built upon thorough preconstruction planning and collaborative efforts. The planning and design phase commenced before the completion of the base building, enabling seamless integration. Progressive budgets and contingencies were meticulously outlined and negotiations delineated between base building and fitout works within the lease agreement. The vision for the new flagship location was to create a clean and adaptable space capable of accommodating a wide range of activities. This goal was realised through the incorporation of operable wall panels, facilitating both spatial division and the display of Japanese art and cultural pieces. Track lighting recessed into the set plasterboard ceiling further enhanced the functionality and versatility of the front-of-house fitout. Complementing the front-of-house area, back-of-house facilities including office spaces, meeting rooms and storage areas completed the fitout.
